Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 May 2026
1. Who we are
DropPost ("DropPost", "we", "us") is a software service that publishes content to third-party social networks on your behalf. By creating an account you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, please don't sign up.
Contact: hello@droppost.com.au.
2. Your account
You must be 18+ and authorised to bind the business you're posting for. You are responsible for the security of your password and API keys, and for everything that happens under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse our infrastructure, or use the service to post unlawful content.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload or generate via DropPost (your "Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit it to the platforms you choose, and to use it to operate and improve the service. We don't sell your Content.
You confirm you have the rights to post your Content, including any images, videos, music, logos and likenesses. You are solely responsible for compliance with each social platform's terms.
4. AI-generated captions
DropPost uses a third-party AI processing provider to draft captions from the brief you provide. AI output can be inaccurate or inappropriate — you must review every post before it goes live. You are responsible for the final post.
5. Subscriptions, billing & refunds
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial — you get full access and are not charged until the trial ends. Plans then renew automatically on the cadence shown in the billing portal until you cancel. You can cancel any time via the billing portal in your settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Free trials convert into a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before then. We don't generally offer refunds for partial periods, but write to us if something has gone wrong — we'll look at every request.
6. Third-party platforms
DropPost posts to social platforms via our secure social media publishing service, and to WordPress sites you connect. The third-party platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) decide whether each post is accepted. We aren't responsible for downtime, API changes, demonetisation, shadow-bans, or content moderation decisions made by those platforms.
7. Acceptable use
- No illegal content, harassment, hate speech, or content that violates someone else's rights.
- No spam, automated scraping of platform users, or attempts to evade platform rate limits.
- No reverse-engineering, reselling DropPost as a wholesale posting API, or sharing accounts.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DropPost is not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss, lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
9. Changes to the service & to these terms
We'll update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where DropPost is incorporated. You and DropPost submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
